I had the opportunity to work with Tristan during her tenure at Sony.  Tristan was an integral leader at Sony, not only in her role as an attorney, but in building Sony LGBTQ  and Diversity awareness and inclusion.  Tristan led the establishment of the LGBTQ employee resource group, and also drove numerous LGBTQ forward initiatives to include pride participation, HRC CEI participation, and a presentation in Japan on LGBTQ inclusion (to name just a few).  Tristan worked beyond the borders of Sony Electronics in support of building relationships and inclusion of all Sony companies.  Her input, contributions, and relationships were invaluable to Sony in building an inclusive environment, not only for LGBTQ employees but for all employees.  She was called on in numerous times to present to the community, the business and Sony Corporate Headquarters in Tokyo on development and advancement of women and LGBTQ inclusive environments.  I have a deep respect and admiration of the work Tristan has done and the person she is.  I feel honored to know her and to have had the opportunity to work with her to make the advancements we have in Inclusion not only at Sony, but in educating  and motivating those she has contact with.
